At Dundee road we are committed to protecting your information. As such we are working to identify the impact of the new GDPR, General Data Protection Regulation. This will affect our privacy policy and some of the information that we hold.
In preparing we need to make some checks to ensure that the data we hold is accurate. One option we are considering is in the next upgrade to the Dundee Road website is to remove all accounts that have been created. This will remove access to the site for all current users.
There will be planned maintenance from the 20th to 24th may during this time all GDPR regulations and implication will be addressed.

When he HST was being built in the 70s as a interim stopgap that has since lasted over 40 years makes me wonder what type of life that its eventual replacement will have. The factory has a 25 year contract to build thes magic dual fule trains. What we have become accustomed to as hybrid cars we will now see on our rails. We as enthusiasts look back at steam with aww and wonder while we look at diesels with the almost marmite love them or hate them. Clearly I'm a fan of the intercity diesels not just the speed the look but there enduring presence though my life they are in my eyes something special. Although there retirement is still a while off yet. Luckily in Scotland we will see the hst takeover the longer routes that scotrail service for a few years while newer trains are built to fulfill these daily commuter services. Although not many details have been released as to which services these will take bit I'm sure that my services to Edinburgh Glasgo...
Over the summer months I was involved in a few projects that took me away from my layout. After taking the time off I felt it difficult to get back to my layout. My summer was full of trains, but not my layout had to take the back burner.
Well what did I do?
I find it relaxing and inspiring to watch videos on YouTube. I love seeing what other people are doing taking ideas. I watch a wide and varied channels in electronics, IT and of course trains from the big real world to the small scale. Once I get back to my workbench I start working on things.
